Oasis Garden club

Our November meeting was well attended with over 30 members braving the strong winds and rain to attend. Our guest speaker this month  was  Dick Handscombe – his talk on “Living well for your Mediterranean Garden” was both enlightening and enjoyable.  Thank you Dick.  We also had a “mini market” where members could purchase plants, wrought iron work, home produce and Christmas items.  Thanks to everyone who ran the stalls. 

Our December meeting (usually on the 1st Thursday of the month) will take place on Tuesday 13th December when we be having our Christmas Lunch.  Unfortunately, this meeting will be for members only and prebooked. Following last years success, places for this years event were quickly taken.  A tribute to the excellent food served by Margaret and staff at the Oasis Country Park in Rugat.  Several of our members have also booked Christmas Day Lunch – both the food and service are excellent.  There will also be a very special guest, hopefully he will make us laugh and give many months of future entertainment!
