Congratulations to all of our winners for some really good golf today.

Balls in the water:- There were 105 balls in the water and the lucky winner of this was Steve Patton captain in 2012, and he donated all to the charity of his choice. Well done Steve, lovely gesture.

Nearest the Pin at hole No 3, was Malcolm Wise at 1.40 meters, and at hole 16 was Martin Gates at 4.05 meters.

There were three 2's today, and one went to Rob Westland, who unfortunately did not enter the two's competition, and was ineligible to collect his prize, so all the money went to two stalwarts of the Society, namely Martin Gates and Andrew Harrison, who once again donated all winnings to the same charity as our ex captain Steve Patton did earlier. Well done to all three of you for this, and congratulations to the charity.

In the Society match play Brendan Young beat our 2013 captain Mike Hollaway by 2&1 and Chris Brooks and Thelma Saull halved their match, to be continued later

In conclusion, it was a very good competition played in the best of spirit, and enjoyed by all our members
