Alcossebre Singers´ brilliant and entertaining concert at St. Christopher church of Alcossebre

A really extensive programme, with funny and Traditional carols. There were two premieres – A Frère Jacques version „Where is Santa? Here I am” and The Twelve Days of Christmas, sung in Spanish, according to a pasodoble, a bright and witty idea of Vivienne Webb, the conductor´s wife, the keyboard player and accompanist. Most carols were sung in English, but there were also several Spanish carols, and some combined in English and Spanish, a good exercise and language test for British and Spanish. The church was packed with  British, German expats and local Spanish including local Mayor Francisco Juan and councillor Ricardo Aguilar.
